Outgoing Mail Week #39

Chaincards
I had an idea to try and start 3 different chains on Wednesday (Sept 16th) morning class (no, I'm not the most attentive student, especially when the subject is about pricing) and somehow I got each group together in around 24h! However I'm a bit worried whether some postcards ever return as there are slow countries, countries where mail gets lost easily as well as some people who have never taken part in chaincards before BUT I have my hopes up! :) And at least one group is with people I've already swapped with AND been in a chaincard group with so, it should be arriving back to me! :)

I also forwarded 2 chaincards to Japan and Russia, third leaving to Indonesia on Monday :)

No Theme Chaincard
I used 0,5€ swan stamp and 0,3€, 0,2€ and 0,1€ stamps
Finland-Indonesia-Germany-Estonia-Finland

Shaped and/or big stamps chaincard
I used one of the new "Eläinten Kaupunki" stamps :)
Finland-Hong Kong-Taiwan-Japan-Finland

Favourite stamp(s) chaincard
I used one of the 2006 cat stamps for this one! :)
Finland-Russia-Canada-Thailand-Finland
THIS is the card I'm most worried about but the happiest if it returns :3

Letters

to Lisa

to Thailand - letter and a stamp swap - Moomins for the newest Thai stamps and the Thailand-Sri Lanka joint-issue coming later this year :)
Fingers crossed the envelope makes it to the destination! Printed the address in Thai, had a boring envelope and the boring "postage paid" sticker just to make it as boring looking as possible. Plus all are packed between a cardboard file - weighting 18x g and costing me 9€ without tracking and in 1st class.

Postcrossing cards to USA
to my surprise, when I changed my account options and agreed to send many cards to the same country, I expected to be sending cards to Russia and Germany, instead, out of 20 cards I took, 13 are going to USA and I got address to USA 11 times in a row! :)

Incoming Mail Weeks #38+39

Good news! My workshop about female "romance" tourism (I'm keeping a workshop for my classmates with a Swedish girl and a Swiss exchange student - they chose the subject, I was open for anything about sustainable tourism and the black sides of tourism industry) got postponed by one week so I have more free time to concentrate on mail and my term paper about Bangkok Airways. See how I still try to chose my last essay subjects from Thailand or something related to the country?

Anyways, to the wonderful incoming mail from the last 2 weeks :3
